Chapter 5-
Graff and another official discuss how Ender must be kept isolated. Ender and the other Launchies meet Dap, the officer in charge of watching out for them and answering their questions. Ender eats lunch by himself and cries silently as he goes to sleep. Ender enters the game room and quickly becomes bored with them. He challanges an older boy to a best two out of three, and wins the second and third times, stunning everyone. Bernard, the boy who's arm Ender broke, begins bullying him and a boy named Shen. Ender hacks the computers and sends messages insulting Bernard. Ender and Shen quickly become friends.
